Palarong Pambansa, which is organized and funded by theDepartment of Education (DepEd),is currently being held on the Province of Pangasinan from May 6 to 12. It will be the second year that the sporting event would have environmentalism as a core theme.
Among the sports included in this year's competition are athletics, arnis, badminton, baseball, basketball, boxing, chess, football, gymnastics, sipa takraw, sepak takraw, softball, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, and volleyball.
