Azkals Tour in Dubai U.A.E.

To all the Filipinos in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Doha, Azkals will play there this coming February as part of their preparation for the AFC Challenge Cup 2012 on March. For more details, please click the Azkals Tour UAE.

The Azkals are leaving Tuesday night,February 7 via an Emirates flight that will take them straight to Dubai for their 10-day Middle East tour.
The Philippine national men’s football team is running double time to get into shape as they only have roughly a month to blend together as a team before they face expected rough sailing at the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup in Kathmandu in March.

The Philippines is bracketed with Asian football powerhouse and World Cup qualifier North Korea, India, and Tajikistan.

Azkals-Matthew Hartmann's indefinite suspension

Azkals-Matthew Hartmann's received an  indefinite suspension from all PFF-sanctioned football events.

IT wasn't only former PH Under 23 team captain Matt Hartman who got suspended by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Disciplinary Committee but also team manager Dan Palami himself.
“I was also suspended from all football-related activities,” Palami told Sun.Star Cebu.

Fortunately for Palami, his suspension was lifted after just one day.

Here is the copy of the  letter from the PFF regarding Matthew Hartmann's indefinite suspension from all PFF-sanctioned football events. This is a result of him abandoning the team during the SEA games in Jakarta.

PBA Finals- Talk 'N Text vs Powerade Game 5 Live and Replay

Watch PBA Finals- Talk 'N Text vs Powerade Game 5 Live and Replay on January 29- 6:00 P.M. at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Powerade thwarted Talk 'N Text's sweep bid in the 37th PBA Philippine Cup Finals, winning Friday night's Game Four, 100-97, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Sean Anthony buried a pressure-packed jumper with 39.8 seconds left to break the game's final deadlock and put the Tigers in front for good, 99-97.

The Tigers' breakthrough win in the best-of-seven title series derailed what many expect to be a sweep by the Tropang Texters, who still holds a 3-1 lead over the lowest seeded team to ever reach the championship round.

Result: Tropang Texters, became the first team since the 1985 Great Taste Coffee Makers to repeat as All-Filipino champion, was derailed in their quest for history after a 100-97 setback in Game Four of the best-of-seven Finals series.

Panagbenga Festival 2012 Schedule

Panagbenga Festival (English: Flower Festival) is a month-long annual flower festival occurring in Baguio, the summer capital of the Philippines. The term is ofMalayo-Polynesian origin, meaning "season of blooming".[1] The festival, held during the month of February, was created as a tribute to the city's flowers and as a way to rise up from the devastation of the 1990 Luzon earthquake. Chief Justice Corona Impeachment Trial- Day 7

Watch GMA News TV's replay coverage of the seventh day of the impeachment Trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

The camp of Chief Justice Renato Corona formally asked the Senate impeachment court yesterday to have Sen. Franklin Drilon removed as judge for his being “openly partial and biased” for the prosecution.

In seeking Drilon’s disqualification as senator-judge, the defense camp noted that he has lost the “cold neutrality” of a judge, thus undermining due process. This, defense lawyers said, should prompt the court to order the “recusal, inhibition, or disqualification” of Drilon.

Kobe Bryant vs. Michael Jordan- NBA Greatest of All-Time

Who do you think is the NBA's greatest player of all-time? Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant?

Here's some comments from facebook page where the image were posted by kicksonfire.com

1. Gimo got it...during MJ's era there less competition than Kobe's time..so MJ will achieve more, I both followed them...we all should learn from them hard work equals success except if you win the Lotto, very good discussion you all.

2. These two players don't care. Theyre just lovers of the game in their own respective eras. They work, practice, And go beyond what is expected of them. 2 great players, 2 hall of famers, 2 different names that needs no comparison. -MJ and kobe fan.

3. Hugo Linsangan Orfinada- Just stop comparing Black Mamba to the GOAT... First of all they played in a different era, different rules, different competition level and different players... MJ's skills were too way advanced for his generation and that made him look awesome and unstoppable, w/c is true though. What I'm just saying here is, If you'll let MJ play in this gen proly he's at par with Kobe and same thing if you'll let Kobe play during his time... See the point? I guess what's important to know that for both eras they both dominated the game of basketball... Compare the stats.. Kobe > Malone, Barkley, Drexler, Miller,Ewing, Stockton, and the 90's players etc... = MJ > LeChoke, Dwade, KG, Ray A, Dwight Howard the answer, Vinsanity and upto the present players etc... The level of intensity and knowledge of their opponents make the diff bet the two great players... That's my 2 cents.. No to haters! Just appreciate and love the game! Peace! I'm a fan of both

4. Paulo Martin Velarde But kobe started nba way earlier than MJ...IMO cant compare the 2 they both played in 2 different era of basketball... What i can say is that MJ practically was way ahead of his time the way he played before and revolutionized the game of bball and kobe like the rest of the Stars of todays game was the product of it... But for this era this generation Kobe is hands down the best player!
