Manuel V. Pangilinan (MVP) to acquire NBA Sacramento Kings?

Business tycoon, Manuel V. Pangilinan (MVP) wanted to acquire Sacramento Kings? Rumors says MVP is interested to acquire Sacramento King Franchise. AKTV reported that Manuel V. Pangilinan and MVP Sports Foundation executive director Chot Reyes will be meeting with NBA commissioner David Stern to discuss a potential deal for the Sacramento Kings, a highly-placed source told InterAKTV on Thursday.

Pangilinan who graduated cum laude from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1966 and received his MBA degree in 1968 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania is also Chairman of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), Meralco, Maynilad Water Services, Inc., Associated Broadcasting Company (TV5), Pilipino Telecommunication Corporation (TALK N' TEXT) and Smart Communications and so on...

The Sacramento Kings are a professional basketball team based in Sacramento, California, United States. They are members of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The only team in the "big four" sports leagues located in Sacramento, they play their home games at Power Balance Pavilion.

The team won the NBL championship in 1946 and the NBA championship in 1951. Since 1945 they have won one conference championship and five division championships.

Meanwhile according to Bleachers Report, it is time for the Sacramento Kings to part ways with 2009-10 Rookie of the Year, Tyreke Evans. It is clear that they aren't going anywhere with him, and they should start reshaping their roster with a new vision of the future.

The Kings have to find players that have a clear position to field a competent starting five. Trading Evans would allow them to speed up that process.
